I would dedicate my heart to him, I offer my mind and body and everything; I place my head at his feet. ||2||

I go around asking everyone, so humbly — does anyone know the way to the One I love? Where can I find that country?
And I mean it with all of me. I would give my whole heart, my whole self, and hold nothing back, just to be shown the way.
Real seeking holds nothing back and asks humbly for the way.
The seeking here is total and humble. Offering "mind, body, and everything" and laying the head at the feet is the surrender of haumai, the separate self, that clears the way to union. The question "which country?" is the ache of a love that has not yet arrived.
A Question to Sit With
What would you be willing to give up to reach something you longed for?
