In plain words

You hold all the power there is, and yet I can simply ask You to be kind to me, and You are.

Nanak says: the One is not far away in some distant sky. The One fills everything and is closer than close — right here, near, always.

The One who holds all power is also nearer to you than you think.
The deeper layer

The One is near — a simple, warm truth to end on.

First came the invitation, then the shared singing, then the knots coming loose. Now the last note is closeness. Too samrath — You hold all power. And yet so parabh nayraa — that One is near.

Think of the strongest person you know, who also sits right beside you when you're scared. The all-powerful One is not far away. The One fills everything and is close. Power and closeness belong to the same One.

A Question to Sit With

What changes when you imagine what you long for as near rather than far away?
