Saarang, Fifth Mehl:
ਬਲਿਹਾਰੀ ਗੁਰਦੇਵ ਚਰਨ ॥
balihaaree gurdayv charan.
I am a sacrifice to the Feet of the Divine Guru.
ਜਾ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਧਿਆਈਐ ਉਪਦੇਸੁ ਹਮਾਰੀ ਗਤਿ ਕਰਨ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
jaa kai sang paarbarahm Dhi-aa-ee-ai updays hamaaree gat karan. ||1|| rahaa-o.
I meditate with Him on the Supreme Lord God; His Teachings have emancipated me. ||1||Pause||

I am a sacrifice to the feet of the Guru.
With the Guru, I remember the Supreme One, and the Guru's teaching sets me free.
The Guru's teaching sets you free.
Being "a sacrifice" means total gratitude toward the Guru. "Feet" stands for humbly drawing near. The Guru's gift is release, a change in how you live.
