I think thoughts of Him; I miss the Love of my Beloved. When will I obtain the Blessed Vision of the Lord's Darshan?

I try, but this mind is not encouraged. Is there any Saint who can lead me to God? ||1||
Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
All my thoughts keep circling back to the One I love. When, when will I finally get to see the Beloved?
I keep trying on my own, but my restless heart will not settle. So I find myself asking: is there someone, anyone, who already knows the way and could take me there?
When your own efforts stall, it is wise to ask someone who already knows the way.
The longing turns practical: the seeker's own efforts do not calm the mind, and so the question rises — is there a saint who can lead me? This is the recognition that the way to the One often runs through those who have already found it. Self-effort reaches its honest limit and opens toward the saints, the Guru's people.
A Question to Sit With
When is it a strength, not a weakness, to ask someone else for help?
