Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

The love of my Beloved has come into my mind and my thoughts.

I have forgotten the tangles of the world's chores and cravings, and all night long I hold my ground.

When love fills your mind, worry loosens its grip.
The deeper layer

Mayrai man cheet aa-ay pri-a rangaa — the love of the Beloved rises into the mind and fills it. As it does, the dhandh bandh maa-i-aa — the tangled, binding chores and worries of the world — is forgotten. When love fills your mind, worry loosens its grip, and you turn toward what you love.

A Question to Sit With

What fills your mind so fully that everything else goes quiet?
