In plain words

I could not go a single moment without the One; I always keep the One in mind.

Nanak says: joining the Sangat, I am filled to the brim with joy, tuned to the One like a string that hums in perfect pitch.

Joy grows even fuller when you share it with others who love the same good thing.
The deeper layer

Nimakh nahee reh sakee-ai — cannot live even an instant apart: the fish-and-water kind of belonging, in a different key.

The joy is found mil santsangat, in the Sangat — people gathered together to remember the One. Connection grows larger when it is shared. Liv laaee — lovingly attuned, like a string tuned to resonate; magan, absorbed, enraptured.

A Question to Sit With

What is something you love even more when you get to share it with other people?
