In plain words

My Guru has lifted the doubt right off me.

I give my whole self to that Guru, forever and ever.

The Guru can lift the doubt you did not even know you were carrying.
The deeper layer

The Guru lifts away doubt, and the heart answers with thanks.

This is the pause line, the rahaa-o, the center of the shabad. Sahsaa means doubt or distrust — the quiet voice that says "maybe none of this is real." Utaari-aa means took it off. Think of dropping a heavy school backpack at the end of a long day. Your shoulders feel light again. The Guru did that for the heart.

Balihaaree and vaari-aa both mean "I give my whole self." It is love so full that it holds nothing back.

A Question to Sit With

Who has helped you trust something good when you were full of doubt?
