A short three-verse shabad of oneness and homecoming. It opens with the One dwelling within every heart and the whole universe strung on a single thread, like beads on a string. The Rahao: You are my Beloved and the support of my breath, and beholding You my mind blossoms open like a flower. The middle verse names long weariness from much wandering and the relief of now holding tight to good company. It closes by holding two truths together — the One is beyond all reach, unseen and infinite, and still the heart remembers it, tenderly, night and day.
The one-thread image (sagal samagree soot tumaaray) is Ik Onkar you can picture: separate-looking beads, one hidden thread. bigsaaray is the vigaas (blossoming) of the Suniai pauris — turning toward the One opens rather than tightens the heart.
