Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
In the home of those who love the One, there is a true celebration; they sing His praises without end. The One Himself hands them the treasure of devotion, and the sting of death loses its power over them.
With that sting gone, they are dear to the One and receive the true treasure of the Name.
It never empties out, no matter how much is drawn from it — the One gives it freely and easily. Loving hearts are lifted high, forever high, made beautiful by the Teacher's Word. The One forgives and folds them in, and through every age they are honored.
bhagtaa kai ghar kaaraj saachaa — a true kaaraj, a genuine celebration/wedding, in the home of the devoted. bhagat khajaanaa — the treasure of devotion, and its wonder is sadaa akhut kaday na nikhutai, always inexhaustible, never running dry: unlike money or fame, love spent only grows. kaal kantak maar — the thorny sting of death is disarmed, not by conquest but by belonging so fully to the deathless One that its fear falls away. aapay bakhas milaa-ay — He forgives and unites; grace does the joining.
What is something that grows rather than shrinks the more you give it away?
