Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Life keeps moving, and it gently calls each of us to move with it — to keep growing, keep loving, keep going forward.

When that call comes, we can meet it with trust instead of worry, because it comes from the same One who has cared for us all along.

Life calls us onward; we can meet the call with trust, not worry.
The deeper layer

chal darhaal deevaan bulaa-i-aa — the call to come onward. har furmaan dargeh kaa aa-i-aa — the summons comes from the One's own Court. Rendered as the flow of existence (Hukam) calling us onward, met with trust rather than dread. This is the shabad's Pause/keynote.

A Question to Sit With

What helps you move forward into something new with a calm heart?
