Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

O my bright and joyful Beloved, the One who charms my whole mind —

just to catch sight of You, I would give everything I have.

Sometimes love asks for nothing but a glimpse of what it loves.
The deeper layer

The Rahao is pure longing for darshan, the blessed sight of the Beloved. laal rangeelay — the deep-red, playful Beloved, an image that belongs especially to Soohee, the raag of the color of love.

A Question to Sit With

What is something you would happily travel a long way just to see?
