Have Mercy upon me, and bless me with the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy. ||4||

So here is my honest prayer: be gentle with me, One.
In Your kindness, place me among good and loving people.

After holding up the mirror, the poet turns to prayer for himself: prabh bakhas kareejai... mohi saaDhsang deejai. The remedy asked for is not willpower but company — being placed among the good. We wake up more easily surrounded by others who are awake.
