I have obtained the Fruitful Vision of Guru Nanak's Darshan, and with my mind and body I meditate on the Lord, Har, Har. ||4||2||49||

In plain words

And here is what the searching finally finds: a deep, settled peace and a quiet joy that comes from tasting the Name. Among people who love the One, songs of gladness rise up.

When that meeting happens, the whole of me - mind and body together - turns toward the One.

The place I searched for is wherever the song of joy is sung together.
The deeper layer

Guru Arjan gives the answer: the place is wherever people sing the song of joy together.

Sahj sookh aanand means ease, peace and joy. Sahaj is the easy calm of a settled heart. Naam ras means the sweet taste of the Name. Har santee mangal gaa-i-aa means the loving ones sing songs of joy.

Safal darsan means a meeting that bears fruit. Meeting the Guru, the whole person, mind and body, turns toward the One. Think of walking into a kitchen where the whole family is singing while they cook. You don't have to ask where the happy place is. You are standing in it. That answers the question the shabad began with.

A Question to Sit With

When have you felt real joy singing or being with others?
