Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
Their strength is real, their standing is real, because it is built on what is actually true and does not wash away.
Their happiness is real, their greatness is real - and they know exactly whose they are and where they came from.
Real greatness is built on what is true and does not wash away.
sachaa amar sachee paatisaahee - true is their command and their sovereignty. Sach is the real and enduring, as opposed to jhooth, the impermanent. jis kay say tin jaatay - they know the One to whom they belong. Greatness is grounded in truth, not display.
