I bless the moment I first came to Your door - of all the times in my life, that one was the most beautiful.
Kindness reached me then, and I found the whole and perfect teaching.
The singer blesses the moment they first came to the One's door.
Kurbaan jaa-ee us vaylaa suhaavee — I would give myself for that beautiful moment. It was the moment of arriving at Your door. Think of the first day at a new school, when someone sat next to you and you knew you had a friend. Everything after that day was different.
Naanak ka-o parabh bha-ay kirpaalaa — God became kind to Nanak. Satgur pooraa paa-i-aa — I found the Perfect True Guru, the whole and complete teaching. Arriving and being blessed happen together, in the same moment.
