Praising the True Lord with a truthful mind, he becomes true in the Court of the True Lord. ||20||

In plain words

When a person stays with the Sangat of the saints, a love for the Truth takes hold.

Praising the True One with a true mind, they become true in the True One's court.

The Sangat grows a love for what is true.
The deeper layer

Stay with the Sangat, and a love for truth starts to grow in you.

Santaa sangat mil rahai — when someone stays in the sangat, the Sangat: people gathered together to remember the One. Taa sach lagai pi-aar — then a love for the truth takes root. It is like a plant set in a sunny window. It grows toward the light without being told.

Sach salaahee sach man — praising the True One with a true mind. Dar sachai sachiaar — that person becomes sachiaar, true through and through, in the True One's court. Being real on the inside is what lasts.

A Question to Sit With

How does spending time with someone change what you care about?
