They sell off their sins and demerits like straw, and enter into the partnership of virtue. ||25||

In plain words

My real brothers and friends are the ones who live toward what's true. We know each other by that.

Together we let our faults blow away like loose straw, worth nothing. Then we team up on something far better: goodness we build and share.

Let faults blow away like straw and partner up on goodness.
The deeper layer

Real friends are the ones who love the truth. Together, they trade their faults for goodness.

Say bhaa-ee say sajnaa jo sachaa sayvann — they are my brothers and my friends, the ones who serve the True One.

Avgan vikan — they sell off their avgan, their faults, like straw. Straw is cheap, and it blows away. Then they go into a saajh, a partnership, of gun, goodness. Think of two friends starting a lemonade stand together. Here, the shop they build and share is goodness. Faults are cheap to let go of. Goodness is the business worth building together.

A Question to Sit With

What's a good thing you and a friend could build together?
