Verse 33 of 33

Everywhere I Turn, the One

ਨਾਨਕ ਕਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਪੂਰਿ ਰਹਿਓ ਹੈ ਜਤ ਕਤ ਤਤ ਗੋਸਾਈ ॥੩੨॥੧॥
naanak kaa parabh poor rahi-o hai jat kat tat gosaa-ee. ||32||1||
Nanak's God is perfectly permeating and all-pervading. Here and there and everywhere, the Lord of the Universe. ||32||1||

In plain words

The One I love isn't tucked away in some far-off place — it fills everything, completely.

Here, there, and everywhere I turn my eyes, the same Oneness is present. After all that longing to find it, I discover it was never anywhere but here.

After all the longing to find it, the One was here all along.
The deeper layer

naanak kaa prabh poor rahi-o hai, jat kat tat gosaa-ee — the One is fully pervading; here, there, and everywhere, the Master of all. The longing shabad resolves in omnipresence: what was sought so far and wide was present all along. Closes ||32||1||.
