Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
In good company I keep the One in mind all through the day, and my heart's wish is met.
A seed planted long ago finally wakes and sprouts, and my whole self settles into that living presence.
Good you began long ago can quietly sprout when the conditions are right.
The Rahau: saadhsang har dhiaaiaa — remembering in the company of the good; aath pahar — all eight watches, the whole day. paraa poorbalaa ankur jaagiaa — a long-dormant seed sprouting, past goodness ripening.
A Question to Sit With
What is a small seed of a habit you are planting now that might grow later?
