Everyone congratulates me on my victory. ||1||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

When I meet the teaching and hold the One in mind, the pieces of my life fall into place.

Kind words come my way, and the goodness in my life feels like a quiet celebration.

When your inside settles, a lot of your outside settles too.
The deeper layer

gur mil prabhoo chitaariaa — meeting the Guru, contemplating the One; jai jai kaar — the sound of glad approval. The line about no one speaking ill is rendered as kind words coming, keeping the warmth.

A Question to Sit With

Have you noticed how the world feels friendlier when you feel steady inside?
