Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

I have found a true shelter in the One, who holds every living being gently in hand.

The One knows what is inside each heart, and lifts up anyone who turns toward home.

You are known all the way through, and still fully welcomed.
The deeper layer

The Rahau: saachee saran suaamee — the true sanctuary; antarjaamee — the Knower-within. patit paavan is rendered as lifting anyone who turns homeward, keeping the welcome without the language of shame.

A Question to Sit With

What is it like to be with someone who knows you completely and still loves you?
