In plain words

The teaching did everything just right and wrapped me in forgiveness.

A steady peace and gladness settled in, and everywhere around me felt calm.

Being forgiven, and forgiving, opens a steady kind of peace.
The deeper layer

This one says the perfect teacher does everything just right, and forgiveness opens a steady peace.

Gur poorai pooree keenee: "the perfect teacher did it perfectly." Nothing was left half-done.

Bakhas apunee kar deenee: "He gave His own forgiveness." Bakhas means forgiveness, given freely. Think of spilling juice on the carpet, and a parent saying, "It's okay, let's clean it up together." The worry melts away.

Then comes nit anand sukh, joy and peace every day. Anand means deep, lasting joy. And the peace spreads out: thaav saglay sukhee vasaa-i-aa, people everywhere live in peace.

A Question to Sit With

How does it feel inside when you forgive someone, or are forgiven?
