ਗੁਰਮਤੀ ਭਉ ਊਪਜੈ ਭਾਈ ਭਉ ਕਰਣੀ ਸਚੁ ਸਾਰੁ ॥
gurmatee bha-o oopjai bhaa-ee bha-o karnee sach saar.
Under Guru's Instruction, the Fear of God is produced, O Siblings of Destiny; true and excellent are the deeds done in the Fear of God.
ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਪਦਾਰਥੁ ਪਾਈਐ ਭਾਈ ਸਚੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਆਧਾਰੁ ॥੬॥
paraym padaarath paa-ee-ai bhaa-ee sach naam aaDhaar. ||6||
Then, one is blessed with the treasure of the Lord's Love, O Siblings of Destiny, and the Support of the True Name. ||6||

With a guide's help, a deep, loving awe wakes up inside you, the kind that makes you want to do good, real good.
Actions that come out of that awe are true and beautiful.
And they open the door to the richest treasure of all: love, with the True Name as your steady support.
