In plain words

Your loving one is joyfully drunk on this love, O One.

The gentle One who lifts the sorrows of the humble has been kind to me, and my whole mind is soaked in singing Your praise.

After everything, only love — the heart soaked in joyful praise.
The deeper layer

This is the second pause line, rahaa-o doojaa, and it closes the shabad with joy.

Tayro sayvak ih rang maataa means Your servant is filled to the brim with this color of love. Maataa means lost in it, so happy it spills over. After all the hard lines about what does not work, this is where the heart finally lands.

Deen dukh bhanjan means the One who breaks the sorrows of the deen, the poor and the humble. The One is especially gentle with those who have little. Ih man raataa: this mind is dyed in singing Your praise. Think of a white T-shirt dropped into a bucket of bright dye. It comes out colored all the way through.

A Question to Sit With

What is something that fills you with so much joy you could sing?
