In plain words

Blessed is the arrival of a person who, turned toward the Guru, lives with the Naam in their heart. The world is a little brighter for their coming.

Nanak says: a life like that does not lift up just one person. Its goodness reaches their whole family, and they are welcomed in the deepest place there is.

A good life is never just your own — its light reaches everyone around you.
The deeper layer

A life lived with the Name blesses everyone around it.

This short verse is about ripples. Aa-ay tay parvaan means their coming into the world is welcomed and accepted. Their very life is a yes.

Then comes a big claim. Kul uDhaareh aapnaa: they lift up their whole family. Goodness does not stay private. It spreads, like a smile that goes round a room. Think of dropping a pebble in a pond and watching the rings spread wider and wider.

Dargeh paavahi maan means they are honored in the One's court. That court is the deepest place there is, and they are welcomed there with dignity. This goes with Pauri 34, which said the loving ones quietly hold everyone up.

A Question to Sit With

Whose life has made your whole family, or your whole class, a little better just by being in it?
