In plain words

Night and day, morning and evening, it is You I sing to.

Every living being, everywhere, keeps Your Name in mind.

You are the Giver, the great Giver — everything we eat, we eat because You gave it.

In the company of loving people, the weight of old mistakes falls away.

Again and again, with my whole heart, I am grateful — I would give anything for You.

Everything you have is a gift — even the food on your plate came from somewhere beyond you.
The deeper layer

The twenty-fifth Pauree is a hymn of pure provision and gratitude. Too daataa daataar, tayraa ditaa khaavnaa — "You are the Giver; we eat only what You give" — is one of the simplest and deepest teachings a child can hold: everything received is a gift, nothing is truly self-made. It rhymes across the whole Vaar with its closing image of the One who feeds even the worm inside the stone. The threefold bal bal jaavnaa ("a sacrifice, a sacrifice, a sacrifice") is rendered as overflowing gratitude rather than self-negation.

A Question to Sit With

Where did today's meal really come from — think of everyone and everything it took to get it to you. How many gifts are hidden inside one bite?
