In plain words

Dear One, You Yourself hand us the understanding.

I give myself to You again and again; I am devoted, always, to Your Name.

Through the deep song I let the old grasping self fall away, and through the deep song I am brought fully alive — the deep song is where freedom is. Through it, heart and mind grow clear, and the One comes to live in me. The teacher is the giver of that song; a mind dyed in it rests forever in the One.

Let the grasping self fall away in the deep song, and you become more alive than before — that is real freedom.
The deeper layer

The rahaao: tum aapay deh bujhaa-ee — "You Yourself give the understanding" — even insight is a gift, not a feat. The powerful phrase is ham sabad mu-ay sabad maar jeevaalay — "I died in the deep song, and through it I am made alive." This is the great Sikh paradox of jeevan-mukti: dying-while-living — the grasping ego let go so fully that you are more alive than before. The project frames this carefully: not literal death, but the falling-away of the small separate self, which is liberation (mukat) right here in this life. Clean, joyful, and free of any morbidity.

A Question to Sit With

What is something you had to let go of that actually made you feel freer?
