The Lord and Master is all-powerful, the Cause of causes; without Him, there is nothing at all. ||3||
Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
Hear it with your ears, sing it with your tongue, hold it in your heart.
The One is all-able, the cause behind every cause — with that One, nothing is ever wasted.
Ears, voice, and heart all pointed the same way — and none of it is ever wasted.
A compact rule of practice covering the whole person: sarvanee (ears — Suniai), rasnaa (tongue — song), hirdai (heart — meditation). Karan kaaran samrath — the all-capable Cause of causes — is the ground that makes none of it baritha, in vain. Nothing offered toward the One is ever lost — a quietly reassuring thought for a child who wonders if their small efforts matter.
