In plain words

Wash up, remember the One, and your mind and body grow well and light.

In that shelter, countless obstacles fall away, and good things begin to open up.

A fresh start and a moment of remembrance can leave your whole self feeling lighter.
The deeper layer

Start the day fresh and remember the One, and you feel lighter inside and out.

Guru Arjan gives a simple daily rhythm. Kar isnaan simar prabh apnaa — take your bath, then remember your God. The bath is a fresh start, like a clean page in a notebook. Then comes a moment of remembering.

Man tan bha-ay arogaa — mind and body become well. Arog means free of sickness, free of that heavy, not-right feeling.

In the One's shelter, kot bighan laathay — millions of obstacles are lifted. Picture a path cleared of fallen branches after a storm. And bhalay sanjogaa, good fortune, begins to show itself. Body and mind are cared for together, in the plainest home language.

A Question to Sit With

What small morning routine helps you feel ready and clear for the day?
