When the treasure of the Lord of the Universe is opened, those who are pre-destined, receive it.

The Guru has given me the one jewel, and my mind and body have become peaceful and tranquil. ||3||

In plain words

When the great treasure-house of the One swings open, whoever is ready receives from it.

The teaching handed me a single jewel, and my whole self grew calm and cool.

One true treasure — the Name held in the heart — is enough to settle your whole self.
The deeper layer

Jah bhandaar gobind kaa khuli-aa — the storehouse of the Divine opening — is grace made abundant, given to jih paraapat, the one ready to receive (readiness, not merit). The 'one jewel' (ayk ratan) the teacher gives is the Name itself: a single priceless thing that makes man tan seetal, mind and body cool and calm. One gift is enough.

A Question to Sit With

If you could keep just one truly precious thing forever, what would it be?
