A Single Drop of the Real Makes You Unshakable

ayk boond gur amrit deeno taa atal amar na mu-aa.
The Guru has blessed me with the one drop of Ambrosial Nectar, and so I have become stable, unmoving and immortal - I shall not die.
bhagat bhandaar gur naanak ka-o sa-upay fir laykhaa mool na la-i-aa. ||4||3||14||
The Lord blessed Guru Nanak with the treasure of devotional worship, and did not call him to account again. ||4||3||14||

In plain words

One drop of the teaching's nectar, and I became steady and unshaken, alive in a way that doesn't end.

The whole treasure of devotion was placed in the teaching's hands, and the old account was never called up again.

A single drop of the real thing can make you steady in a way nothing can shake.
The deeper layer

The close: ayk boond gur amrit — a single drop of amrit, nectar — makes one atal amar, steady and deathless (read as the unshakeable aliveness of a settled soul, not literal immortality). Fir laykhaa mool na la-i-aa — the account is never called up again — the torn-up-ledger grace: past reckonings simply cancelled, not audited. Relief, completeness, rest.

A Question to Sit With

What makes you feel steady and unshaken, even when things around you are wobbly?
