You are the treasure, eternal Lord King; all beings and creatures beg of You.

Says Nanak, such is our condition; please, Lord, keep us on the Path of the Saints. ||4||6||17||

In plain words

You are the treasure that never runs out, and every living thing turns to You for what it needs.

This is honestly where I stand — so keep me walking with those who love You, and I will be alright.

Choose your company well — you become who you walk beside.
The deeper layer

The closing line asks for one gift above all: raakh santan kai paachhai — keep me in the company, in the footsteps, of those who love the One. It is a quiet admission that we are shaped by whom we walk beside. Nidhaan is the inexhaustible treasure; atal sulitaan, the unshakable King — everything that lives draws on it, and none of it runs low.

A Question to Sit With

Who are the people who make it easier for you to be your best self?
