I have found the greatest bliss, and I am at peace, by the Grace of the Saints.

Says Nanak, my mind is reconciled with the Lord; it is imbued with the wondrous Love of the Lord. ||4||8||19||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

A great gladness came over me and I found real peace, and it came through the kindness of good company.

My heart and the One agreed at last, and now I am colored through with a wonder I did not expect.

Real peace is when your inside and the truth finally agree.
The deeper layer

Har si-o man maani-aa — the mind came into agreement with the One. This is mannai: not merely believing something is true, but living from it until there is no gap left. The color imagery — rang ratay bismaadhay — is dye that has soaked all the way through, a wonder (bismaad) that has become the fabric itself rather than a coat worn on top.

A Question to Sit With

What is something you believe that you also actually live by?
