chanting it, one's affairs are perfectly resolved. ||3||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

In the company of good-hearted people, the old weights slipped off me.

The Name is a treasure full of every goodness; holding it, the things that troubled me came right.

The company you keep can lift weights off you that you could not lift alone.
The deeper layer

Sagal paraachhat laathay -- all the old faults fall away in saadh sangat (the company of the good-hearted). Gun nidhaan -- the Name is a treasure-house of every virtue.

A Question to Sit With

Who are the people who leave you feeling lighter after you have been with them?
