Wadahans, Third Mehl:
ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰ ਤੇ ਨਾਮੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਜਾਇ ॥
pooray gur tay naam paa-i-aa jaa-ay.
From the Perfect Guru, the Naam is obtained.
ਸਚੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਸਚਿ ਸਮਾਇ ॥੧॥
sachai sabad sach samaa-ay. ||1||
Through the Shabad, the True Word of God, one merges in the True Lord. ||1||

From true wisdom, the beautiful Name is found.
And through good, true words, a person melts into what's real.
From wisdom comes the good, and the good draws you home to what's real.
A short shabad on obtaining the Naam through the Guru and the Shabad. "From the Perfect Guru, the Naam is obtained; through the Shabad, one merges in the True Lord." The path is stated plainly: wisdom gives the Name, and the Name unites.
