ਘਟ ਘਟ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਮੇਰਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਵੂਠਾ ॥

Within each and every heart, dwells my Lord and Master.
ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਤੂਠਾ ॥੪॥੬॥
naanak naam paa-i-aa parabh toothaa. ||4||6||
O Nanak, one obtains the Naam, the Name of the Lord, when God bestows His Mercy. ||4||6||
Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
That precious One lives inside every single heart.
And the good comes to you as a gift of kindness.
That most precious thing lives inside every single person — there are no exceptions, including you.
The shabad closes: "within each and every heart dwells my Lord... one obtains the Name when God bestows His Mercy." The precious jewel (P2) is in everyone — the treasure isn't far away or rare; it's in every heart, including yours. For a child: that most precious thing lives inside every single person — there are no exceptions.
A Question to Sit With
How might you treat people differently if you remembered a jewel lives inside each one?
