The comings and goings of life all unfold within Your gentle care.
And a heart You hold isn't overwhelmed by hard things.
Hard things still happen — but a heart that's held and cared for doesn't get overwhelmed by them.
"Coming and going are by Your Will. One whom You save is not afflicted by suffering." Life's turns unfold within the One's care (Hukam), and a heart held by the One isn't overwhelmed by hardship — not that hard things vanish, but they don't crush a sheltered heart. For a child: hard things still happen, but a heart that's held doesn't get overwhelmed by them.
