One who is so blessed by the Lord, obtains a seat in the Mansion of the Lord's Presence. ||4||
Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
Let truth be your food and truth your clothes, and lean your whole weight on what's real.
A heart like that finds its home in the One.
Let truth be as everyday and ordinary as your food and your clothes — not just for special occasions.
The truth-imagery reaches the everyday: "let Truth be your food and Truth your clothes." Truth isn't a special-occasion thing but the very stuff of daily life — what nourishes you and what you wear, i.e. what you take in and how you show up. A life fully clothed and fed by truth "obtains a seat in the Mansion." For a child: let truth be as everyday as your food and your clothes.
