Each and every moment, dwell on the Name. The Gurmukhs obtain it.
The Treasure of the Name is inexhaustible. By great good fortune, it is given.
This one says everything you're looking for is already inside you.
Ghar hee sa-udaa paa-ee-ai: the goods can be found at home. Antar sabh vath ho-ay: everything is inside. This is Guru Amar Das's clearest saying that the One lives within us. What you look for outside is already here. The real question isn't where to find it. It is how to get still enough to notice it. Think of trying to spot a fish in a pond. When the water is stirred up, you see nothing. When it settles, there it is.
The inner home keeps showing up in his Siree Raag shabads. The treasure isn't only in a temple or at a holy place, or held by a scholar. It is inside you.
Khin khin naam samaalee-ai: every moment, keep the Name close. Gurmukh paavai ko-ay: those who face the Guru find it. Naam nidhaan akhut hai: the treasure of the Name never runs out. Vadbhaag: by great good fortune, it is given.
