In plain words

With faith in the Word of the Guru's teaching, the True Teacher is found.

And with the True Teacher, the True Lord is found — through the Shabad that abides within.

Faith is not certainty about what you cannot see. It is confidence in what the practice has begun to show you.

Faith is the willingness to continue what has begun to show its reality — before it is complete.
The deeper layer

The closing pauri (this shabad has only 4 pauris) completes the circle: faith in the Shabad → True Guru found → True Lord found through the Shabad. The sequence is a loop that tightens into union.

Biswas (faith) here is not credulity but sustained trust — the willingness to continue the practice even before the full result is visible. It is the faith that what is beginning to happen is real, and the commitment to continue so it can complete.

A Question to Sit With

What is something in your life you kept with even when you couldn't yet see the result — and were eventually glad you did? What made you keep going?
