In plain words

There is only the One Supreme Lord God. There is no other at all.

Soul and body all belong to Him. Whatever pleases His Will comes to pass.

Through the Perfect Guru, one becomes perfect. O Nanak — meditate on the True One.

There is only the One — and soul and body both belong to the One. Ownership is always the One's.
The deeper layer

The closing pauri distills the shabad's theology to its minimum: Ik Prabhu — One God. Avar na dujaa — there is no other at all. This is not just religious statement; it is the claim that there is only One Reality, and everything else is expressions of it.

"Soul and body all belong to Him" — jee-o pind sabh tis kaa — there is no ownership outside the One. The human who claims ownership of soul and body is confused about the basic facts.

"Through the Perfect Guru, one becomes perfect" — poorai Gur hoovai pooraa. The Guru's perfection produces the student's perfection. Not imitation: genuine participation.

A Question to Sit With

What would it feel like to genuinely experience your body as belonging to the One — not yours to protect and maintain, but His to inhabit? What would change?
