In plain words

O my mind — seek the Sanctuary of God.

Without the Lord, there is no other at all. Meditate on the One and only Naam, the Name of the Lord.

The One replaces all others — not by force but by being genuinely more than all the alternatives.

Seek the one Sanctuary — without the One, there is no other, at all.
The deeper layer

The rahao is the summary position of all Guru Arjan's Siree Raag teaching: Prabh sarnaa (God's Sanctuary). Bin har avar na koee — without the Lord, there is no other at all. This is both theological claim and experiential report: having found the One, all alternatives are recognized as substitutes.

Ek naam (One Name) — the singularity of practice and focus. Not many names, many practices, many paths converging. The one Name, the one Lord, the one Sanctuary.

A Question to Sit With

What does it mean to you that 'there is no other at all'? Does that feel restrictive or liberating? Both? What depends on how you hold it?
