In plain words

I take the Support of the Lord's Lotus Feet. There is no other place of rest for me.

I lean upon You as my Support, O Supreme Lord God. I exist only by Your Power.

O God, You are the Honor of the dishonored. I seek to merge with You.

Taking support of the Lotus Feet means: I have no other support, I exist only by Your power, I seek only to merge.
The deeper layer

The Lotus Feet (charan kamal) of the Lord — the classic devotional image of the lowest submission: taking support from the divine's feet. The Lotus Feet are not literal; they represent the closest and most humble approach to the divine — not as an equal, not standing face-to-face, but at the feet.

"I exist only by Your Power" — tere bal — my entire existence is by Your strength. There is no independent capacity. Every breath, every thought, every capacity is the Lord's.

"Honor of the dishonored" — nimaanay maan — from Guru Ram Das's vocabulary, repeated here: the divine specializes in giving honor to those the world has dishonored.

A Question to Sit With

What or who do you most fundamentally lean on — the actual source of your strength when everything else has run out? Is that the Lord? Something else? What is it?
