The devotee of God is not concerned with deliverance or bondage.
They live in the company of the Saints, imbued with the Naam, day and night.
The spiritual framework organized around escape versus trap — that whole framework is transcended.
Na muktaa na baandhaa (neither concerned with liberation nor with bondage) — the devotee has transcended the framework that organizes ordinary spiritual aspiration. The seeker in the ordinary spiritual path is trying to escape bondage and attain liberation. The devotee of God is already in a different place: the question of liberation-or-bondage does not arise.
This is not passive — the devotee lives in the Sangat, imbued with the Naam, din raatee (day and night). The transcendence of the framework is not absence of practice; it is fullness of love.
