You live in the pool of contentment, and your tongue speaks the sweet taste of nectar.
Meeting you, a calm peace rises up, and wrongdoing runs far away.
You have found the ocean of peace, and you never grow tired on the One's path.
Self-restraint, truth, contentment and humility are your armor, and it can never be pierced.
The Creator has set a seal on the True Guru, and the world sounds a trumpet of his praise.
Kal says: Guru Ram Das, you have reached the state that is fearless and lasts forever.
Truth, humility, contentment and self-restraint make an armor nothing can pierce.
The armor, sannahu, is made of qualities: seel (humility), sat (truth), santokh (contentment), sanjam (self-restraint). Someone rooted in these has nothing exposed to wound.
Bidh nai siri-o means the Creator set a seal on the Guru: his standing comes from the One.
