Gaathaa, Salok 21 — remembering lifts the whole family
ਸਿਮਰਣੰ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਨਾਮੰ ਉਧਰਣੰ ਕੁਲ ਸਮੂਹਣਹ ॥
simarnaN gobind naamaN uDharnaN kul samoohneh.
Meditating in remembrance on the Naam, the Name of Lord of the Universe, all one's generations are saved.
ਲਬਧਿਅੰ ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗੇਣ ਨਾਨਕ ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਭੇਟੰਤਿ ਦਰਸਨਹ ॥੨੧॥
labDhi-aN saaDh sangayn naanak vadbhaagee bhaytant darasneh. ||21||
It is obtained in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy. O Nanak, by great good fortune, the Blessed Vision of His Darshan is seen. ||21||

This is found in the Sangat. Nanak says: by great good fortune, a person is blessed to see the One.

Simarna(n) gobind naama(n): remembering the Naam of the Lord of the World. UDharna(n) kul samoohneh: all the generations of a family are lifted.
LabDhi-a(n) saaDh sangayn: it is found in the company of the holy. Vadbhaagee bhaytant darasneh: by great good fortune, a person meets the One face to face.
