You search for your Husband Lord; you must have some fault in your body.

Those who are known as happy soul-brides, do not look to others. ||114||

In plain words

O bride, you are still searching for your Husband, so there must be some flaw in you.

Those who are known as happy brides do not look to anyone else.

The happy bride looks to no one but the Husband.
The deeper layer

A heart that still searches here and there has not yet found its rest; the happy bride looks to no one else.

Dhoodhaydee-ay suhaag koo: you who are searching for your Husband. In Gurbani the soul is often a bride, and the One is the Husband she longs for. Ta-o tan kaa-ee kor: then there is some flaw in you, something not yet ready.

Naa-o suhaaganee: those called happy brides. Jhaak na hor: they do not look elsewhere. Think of a child who has found their mother in a crowd and stops looking around.

A Question to Sit With

What does it feel like to stop searching because you have found what you needed?
