Streams of Ambrosial Nectar flow; Your Treasures are unweighable and overflowing in abundance. You are the Farthest of the far, Infinite and Incomparably Beautiful.

No one else is equal to You; Your Light is Immaculate and Pure. Millions of sins are washed away, chanting Your Name, Har, Har.

I am a sacrifice, a sacrifice, a sacrifice, a sacrifice, forever a sacrifice to them. ||2||

In plain words

Streams of nectar flow from You; Your treasures are too full to weigh. You are farther than the farthest, endless and beyond compare.

You do whatever You please and take no one's advice. In Your home, making and ending happen in a single blink.

No one else is equal to You; Your light is spotless and pure. Millions of wrongs are washed away by saying Your Naam, Har, Har.

Your devotees stand at Your Door, O One, and they are like You. Nanak, Your servant, says: with only one tongue, how can I describe them?

I give myself to them, again and again and again, forever.

Saying the Naam washes millions of wrongs away.
The deeper layer

The One's nectar and treasures never run out, and saying the Naam washes away millions of wrongs.

Amrit parvaah: streams of nectar. Atul bhandaar: treasures that cannot be weighed. Opat parlou aykai nimakh: making and ending in one blink. The whole world begins and rests inside the One.

Kot paraachhat jaahi naam lee-ay har har: millions of wrongs go when the Naam is spoken. Think of muddy hands under a running tap: the water does the cleaning. The refrain of the first verse returns at the end.

A Question to Sit With

What helps you feel clean and light again after a hard day?
