Naarad, Dhroo, Prahlaad and Sudaamaa are counted among the One's devotees of long ago.
Ambreek, Jaidev, Trilochan, Namdev and Kabir are remembered too.
They were born in this dark age, and their praise has spread over all the world.
Great Guru Ram Das, your victory rings out in the world. You have reached the highest place of the One.
People have loved the One in every age and every walk of life, and their praise has spread over the world.
Balh lists them. Naarad, Dhroo, Prahlaad, Sudaamaa, and Ambreek come from old Hindu stories. Jaidev, Trilochan, Namdev, and Kabir are Bhagats, devotees whose songs are in the Guru Granth Sahib itself.
