The devotees Ravidas, Jaidev and Trilochan sing his praises.
The devotees Namdev and Kabir sing of him always, knowing he looks on everyone with the same eyes.
The devotee Beni sings his praises. With easy calm, he enjoys the joy of the soul.
He is a master of yoga and meditation and of the Guru's wisdom. He knows no one but the One.
Sukhdev and Preekhyat sing his praises, and Gautam the sage sings his praise.
Kal the poet says: the praise of Guru Nanak is fresh every day, and it has spread through the whole world.
The praise of Guru Nanak stays fresh every day, nit navtan, and fills the whole world.
The singers are the Bhagats, devotees whose own songs are in the Guru Granth Sahib: Ravidas, a leatherworker; Namdev, a calico printer; Kabir, a weaver; Trilochan, Beni and Jaidev. Many of them came from families their society ranked low. All of them sing the same praise. Sukhdev, King Preekhyat and Gautam are sages from the old stories.
Sam lochan, even-eyed, is the gaze that sees every person the same way.
